baby cam

If you were in our house tonight around 7 p.m., this is what you would have found. John and I were in the basement for a minute, and we came upstairs to a baby asleep in the exersaucer. We have started sleep training her, and it's really no fun for anyone involved, including the neighbors. We moved her out of the bassinet (a little late, I know) into her own crib, and we also moved her out of our room into her own bedroom. We have also decided to not feed her in the middle of the night. Last night she cried off and on from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. and again from 2:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Good times.
Needless to say, we're all exhausted.

Tonight has to go better, right?

A Few More

Here are a few more pictures from our vacation.

The boys took a fishing trip and caught king mackeral and sharks.

Norah on the beach; I think she ate her weight in sand. =)

Sing, sing a song,

make it simple to last to last your whole life long. Don't worry that it's not good enough for anyone else to hear. Just sing, sing a song.

Here's pictures from the kereoke party a week ago in Chicago. The external hard drive is still at school, but these are pictures Aunt Linda sent to me. I had a great time singing kereoke with Heather. She gives anyone liquid courage and makes everyone sound better. She's an amazing singer. We wrote a song to Uncle Ken (it was his 70th birthday party) and we changed the words to Sweet Caroline to Sweet Uncle Ken, and then changed it to Old Uncle Ken. Uncle Ken loves Neil Diamond.
I have new found respect for Debbie Harry because I tried to sing Call Me, and it didn't go so well. I don't understand, I sound so good when I sing it in the car. =)
The last picture is awesome, and I'm sure I'll hear some flack for posting it, but this picture represents the extent of the good time that was had. If this picture doesn't make you smile, then you might be dead inside.

A Different Baby

but equally as cute. I mean, come on, just look at those pigtails. Norah is putting Cecilia's little bald head to shame.

Tilt Your Head Counterclockwise

John took the external hard drive to school, and along with it were the pictures from Chicago, so this is not a Chicago update. What this is is a video that we took Sunday night of Cecilia sitting up on her own, and laughing. If I had an extra hour, or extra energy to figure out how to turn the video, I would have done that for you, but since I am posting this then heading directly to bed after an EXHAUSTING day, you'll just have to bear with me and turn your head sideways.

Goodnight.
